Smelt at School

You won't learn how to smelt gold here, but thanks for stopping by.

About Me

Blogger:
The smelting process (see above) is designed to remove impurities and capture the gold - it bears a striking similarity to writing a dissertation. Smelting's hotter, though.

Chapter 3

After being away from diss work for 6 1/2 weeks, then coming back and promptly getting sick for another week, I am slowly making my way back to daily work on my diss.

Today's issue is Chapter 3 - In the process of firming up some concepts, I realized that the original organization no longer makes sense, but I'm having trouble determining what the new order should be. [multiple possible permutations expunged]
I know that this uncertainty and angst is all part of the process, but at times I simply cannot believe that my committee passed my proposal. And yet, they did.

Back on the horse.
