Smelt at School

You won't learn how to smelt gold here, but thanks for stopping by.

About Me

User: schoolsmelt
The smelting process (see above) is designed to remove impurities and capture the gold - it bears a striking similarity to writing a dissertation. Smelting's hotter, though.

the little things

On the way in, I had a mini conversation with a construction worker who'd been digging up the streets in the pouring rain and was then doffing his sodden raingear under an overhang:

SS: So, how're you doing today?
CW: Eh, I've had better days.
SS: It is pretty wet out there.
CW: Yeah. I should've stayed in school. [big grin]

I'm grateful to him for the amusing start to my day, and to the person who had this computer before I did, for leaving all their music loaded up and ready for me.
It's almost all stuff I like that I'd never heard, or heard only rarely and forgotten about. Writing to music is a million times easier.

Yoshick - nope, but I'm interested in being educated. Should I just go for the "best of" 2004 Shakespear's Sister, or do you have a favorite?
